I never had any of the "fish favorites" and I wish I had. Those dishes looked over the top and amazing. I had classic diner food and it was done right. Clean, tidy, and welcoming, makes for a great meal when visiting Fogo.
This place was unpleasantly warm, no air flow, dark, run down and the tables are tacky to the touch. None of this was due to hot weather as other diners lean all to the opposite.All that said, it is on a small island, supplies are somewhat limited as are staff to keep expenses down. But a lick of paint, lighting placement, big cleaning job and air flow would ring in 5 stars.My burger was ok but the fries were limp and greasy. Sorry folks!
Nice family run restaurant. Good selection of homestyle meals. The fish and chips are highly recommended.
Cute little place! Food was good. Staff were nice and helpful with questions about food as well as the community!
Food was pricey but good. Not much choice in this neck of the woods. Tables were sticky ( perhaps the pine tar still leaking out)..Very dark. The ceiling was painted black.. Could really use sprucing up and white paint.
